Where this site stands, honestly.

pyxartis is a preservation lab. Making things legible and durable for the people who come after is the whole job, and a website nobody can use is a failure of the same kind as a scan nobody can read.

We are working to make pyxartis.com usable with a keyboard alone, with a screen reader, at high zoom, with reduced motion enabled, and without relying on color to tell you what a control does. This statement describes where that work actually stands — not where we would like it to stand.

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and we know of areas that do not yet. We are actively remediating those areas rather than treating this as finished.

We are not claiming full conformance, and we will not until an assessment supports it. If you see a conformance claim on this site that goes further than this paragraph, it is wrong and we want to hear about it.

Keyboard access. Every page starts with a skip link to the main content, and interactive controls show a visible focus ring. The testimonial carousel can be driven with the arrow keys and stopped with a pause button.

Reduced motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, the hero video is replaced by its still frame, the carousel stops auto-advancing, smooth scrolling falls back to native instant scrolling, and the page-entrance animations are switched off.

Screen readers. Icon-only buttons carry text labels, decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology, form fields are programmatically labelled, and form errors and confirmations are announced rather than only shown.

Contrast. Body text and the visible boundaries of form controls are checked against the actual background they sit on, including the animated brand gradient at its lightest point.

Third-party payment fields. Checkout embeds Stripe's hosted card fields. We control how they are labelled and where focus lands, but the markup inside them is Stripe's, and we cannot remediate it directly.

Charts in the admin portal. The revenue, order-volume, lifetime-value and channel-split charts render as SVG with no text equivalent, so they are effectively unavailable to a screen reader. A tabular alternative is planned.

The signature pad. Order handoff uses a draw-to-sign canvas, which cannot be completed without a pointing device. If that blocks you, contact us and we will complete the handoff another way.

It helps if you can tell us the browser and any assistive technology you were using, but please do not let missing details stop you from writing. A one-line report is worth far more to us than no report.

We aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within 5 business days, tell you what we found, and give you a realistic timeline for a fix. If the fix will take a while, we will offer another way to get the thing done in the meantime — the lab runs on email and phone as readily as it does on this website.

This statement is based on internal review: automated accessibility linting wired into our build tooling, a code-level audit of the site's shared layout, form and navigation components, and contrast ratios computed from the WCAG formula against the real rendered backgrounds rather than estimated by eye.

It has not been verified by an independent third-party audit. When that changes, this section will say so and name the auditor.
